Ways2H’s solutions turn the world’s worst waste into carbon-negative renewable hydrogen for mobility fuel and power generation.
The growing volumes of trash and unrecyclable plastic that are causing problems around the world can be upcycled to produce a major portion of the world’s clean energy resources. Countries around the world are increasingly looking for opportunities to increase the use of hydrogen for transportation, power generation, energy storage and other uses. In the meantime, the waste industry is looking for solutions to replace landfills and incinerators.
Our global team has several decades experience in the waste processing and renewable energy production sector. We are committed to identifying, developing and commercializing turnkey systems or technology bricks that contribute solutions to the global $400 billion+ solid waste management market and the rapidly growing hydrogen economy, estimated to reach $2.5 trillion by 2050. We are working throughout the waste to energy value chain, from waste transformation to energy generation, including key components such as carbon sequestration.
Ways2H is committed to helping improve our global environment. We see an urgent need for clean hydrogen to replace fossil fuels for mobility, power generation and industrial applications, and we are convinced that carbon-negative renewable hydrogen will play a major role in powering many of the applications we currently use fossils fuels for. So-called Green Hydrogen, hydrogen produced via electrolysis powered by renewable electricity, is a much-needed carbon neutral pathway. We believe we can do better, and leave renewable electricity for its conventional uses, feeding a truly 100% renewable power grid and helping power the increasing demand for EV charging.
In addition to reducing emissions, we see an opportunity to help tackle the global waste crisis, and we view these problems as interconnected systems. With 2 billion metric tons of municipal solid waste produced globally each year -- with much of it ending up in our oceans and waterways -- we need sustainable new methods for disposing of our waste.
Diverting medical waste, plastics and other solid waste from landfills to hydrogen production facilities can also help reduce methane emissions, which are 84 times more harmful to the planet than carbon dioxide over 20 years.
Mission
Ways2H is committed to helping improve the global environment by identifying, developing and commercializing solutions to eliminate waste while producing hydrogen. We strive to provide clean forms of energy or fuels and introduce technologies that have a positive impact in creating a cleaner environment globally.
